Remember zines? This is not one, but it's close.
Death, Love and Broken Records isn't so much a zine or a blog as it is a Brundle Fly Museum of Natural History. A place to display little bits of myself in glass jars. An ear, a fingernail. Or two decades of backstory, rare tracks and discog trivia.
DL&BR has been a dream and a perennial passion project of mine for a long, long time. Herein lies a 33 1/3rd version of the last 21 recordings I’ve created or collaborated on over the last two decades. And here is where I'll launch anything and everything new under a single umbrella that Young Tobacco Records, Nap Factory, this journal and everything else all feed into.
I'll be posting here regularly every Monday, with new music every 1-3 months. I've got photography taken from all over the world I can't wait to share, plus lots of new things that will evolve with time and ultimately be released here in this new digital homestead first.
This is a long game, and I'm excited for where it's going to go. I'd love to have you as my ride-or-die, so if you'd like to come along, subscribe to the mailing list.
And don't forget to share!
